Bought as a gift for my husband who is a big strapping fella of 6'2 200 lbs who often is carrying a pack. He absolutely loved them! Not only are the bindings easy to on and off, which is a big plus but they are incredibly lightweight. We are not groomed trail people, so these saw hill climbing and over fences and through bush, utilizing the crampons. The heel bar is also easy up and down. Love our powder paws, they are very easy to put on ,fast and easy to attach ,very light and fun to walk with in any type of snow. The adjustable pole are perfect and they look great. I am from Ontario we were looking for quality snowshoes for our son and daughter-in-law. My husband found “Powder Paws Snowshoes” on the internet. I called them wanting to order the snowshoes for Christmas. During this time Caleb and Danielle were battling the tragic floods in B.C. Even though they were dealing with a horrible situation their phones were open, so helpful and knowledgeable! Due to the floods there were delays in the mail. We were ok with that because they are Canadian even though they were probably fighting to keep there business going they were polite and helpful! Thank you! We wish you the best! I am not an experienced snowshoer but it found the Powder Paws easy and comfortable to use. They are light be seem very well built. Customer service was friendly and kept me informed of the shipping status. It was a great year to get into snowshoeing!

Great customer service - even during the floods here in BC around delivery times. Very responsive to questions and helping navigate delivery/pick up with Christmas time! Haven't had a chance to get out on them yet but that is the plan for next weekend!

I have used these several times out in the local mountains and was really impressed with the traction the crampons provided. The trekking poles are a must for stability. Plan on getting lots of use out of them this season. Extremely well priced for a well made product
